Ready to be healthier? One popular method is juicing.
You’ve probably heard of this trend, but did you know that juicing has many benefits?
Juicing has been shown to:
- Help with weight loss
- Allow your body to get more nutrients and vitamins
- Boost energy levels
- Improve immune system functioning
Juicing can have many benefits, but let’s face it, it can also be expensive! Follow these tips if you’re juicing on a budget.

Find an Affordable Juicer
If you’d like to start juicing, the first step is to buy a juicer. Many juicers are expensive, but you don’t need to spend a small fortune to get a quality juicer.
Try looking for discounts on juicers – there are some juicers for sale at MyJuicer. You can find amazing deals there!
Use In-Season Produce
Your juice will be made up of fruit and/or veggies (which typically aren’t cheap). Sticking with in-season produce will help to keep the costs reasonable.
If there are certain fruits or veggies you love, you can wait to use those until they’re in season. Using different foods throughout the year will give you some variety as well.
This will keep you from getting bored with juicing and it’ll give you a variety of different nutrients!
Mix It Up
You don’t necessarily need to drink juice for every single meal. You could instead have juice for 1 or 2 meals each day.
For your other meals, stick with whole foods and you’ll still be eating healthy and gaining a lot of benefits!
Deals and Coupons
Buy produce that’s on sale, look for coupons, and use money saving apps. My favorite app for saving on groceries is Ibotta.
Ibotta is a free app that allows you to earn cash back on groceries (and other every day purchases) at hundreds of stores, including:

Buy Long-Lasting Veggies
Vegetables tend to cost less than fruit, and veggies are super healthy. Try to use more veggies than fruit for your juice.
Also, buy vegetables that tend to not expire quickly. Romaine lettuce, carrots, celery, and zucchini are a few veggies that last 2-3 weeks in the fridge.
